The types of new energy series mainly include the following categories:

‌Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV): Pure electric vehicles rely on batteries for power supply and are driven by electric motors, with zero emissions. Representative models include Tesla, Weilai, BYD Han, etc. 

‌Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV): Hybrid electric vehicles combine fuel engines and electric motors, and can switch power sources under different working conditions to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Representative models include Corolla Hybrid, Camry Hybrid, etc.

‌Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV): Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles can be charged by external power supply or use fuel engines, with longer pure electric endurance and lower fuel consumption. Representative models include SAIC Roewe EI6, Volkswagen Tiguan L PHEV, etc.

‌Range-extended Electric Vehicle (REEV): Range-extended electric vehicles charge batteries through engines, and batteries drive electric motors, which are suitable for long-distance travel. Representative models include Ideal ONE, etc.

‌Fuel Cell Vehicle (FCEV): Fuel cell vehicles use hydrogen as fuel and generate electricity through electrochemical reactions to drive the vehicle. They are characterized by high energy efficiency and low emissions. Representative models include Toyota Mirai, etc.

‌Hydrogen Energy Vehicles: Including hydrogen internal combustion vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. The former generates power by burning hydrogen, and the latter generates electricity through the chemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen to drive the vehicle. Hydrogen energy vehicles have attracted attention for their environmental protection, high efficiency and abundant energy reserves.

‌Methanol Fuel Vehicles: Using methanol as fuel, although its calorific value is low, it has a high octane number and is rich in oxygen. This type of vehicle requires a special engine and fuel delivery system to adapt to the characteristics of methanol.

‌Solar Driven Vehicles: Relying entirely on solar energy as a power source, it achieves true zero emissions. With the increasing attention paid to environmental protection around the world, solar powered vehicles and related industries are experiencing rapid development.
